How To Avoid A Patchy Beard

How To Avoid A Patchy Beard - Salman Dean

The sad truth is that not all beards are created equal. Many men out there suffer from gaps in their beard. Although there is no magic cure Ted's Grooming Room (see review here) have kindly put together some tips so your beard can reach it's full potential.

let it grow

When a patch appears, don't go straight to the razor, let it grow. Don't worry about an itchy beard - it is a rite of passage! If it itches, you are on the path the success! To ease itching, use a beard comb, and comb all the hair in the same direction first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

get regular trims

To keep length and thickness consistent throughout, make sure to get regular trims to keep your beard at one length and comb daily through with a beard brush. If you feel like treating yourself then why not visit Ted's Grooming Room and ask for a Tommy n Turkish which is £22.50. They are really professional and will make you feel like a million bucks.

apply beard oil

Applying a beard oil or beard moisturiser can help your beard look fuller so you can appreciate its full potential. Beard oil can make your beard appear shiny, if this isn't the look you want, apply oil at night and moisturiser during the day.

maintain a well balanced diet

Investing in supplements can help, as well as eating foods rich in vitamins B5, B3 and B91. Stock up on key foods like lean meats, nuts, egg yolks and milk.

Thats all for this post guys. If you have any grooming tips and tricks please comment below as I'd love to hear. Best of luck with your beards and catch you next time!
