The Christmas Candles That You Need To Try

Festive Yankee Candle Review

Hey guys how are you? The temperature has dramatically dropped and it's definitely feeling like winter. Christmas is only 6 weeks away and everything is starting to get festive. Since I was a teenager I've been obsessed with candles. I think it's because scent definitely effects my mood. If I have a candle burning it picks me up and makes me feel positive. Did you know? that some companies in Tokyo use scents to help improve productivity.

I feel like Yankee Candle is a household name - if you don't know then you really need to. Here are some of my favourite picks for the festive period.

Christmas Cookie is my all time favourite Yankee Candle. I've been buying it for a couple of years now and nothing really beats it. The candle literally smells like food - rich buttery, vanilla scented, sugary cookies. Similarly there is Macaron Treats which is also like a sweet vanilla but it has a chocolatey undertone. This one is a lot more sweeter smelling than Christmas Cookie and it has notes of almond. Yum!

Moving onto something more fresh, All is Bright is a subtle neutral candle. It has citrusy top notes like grapefruit and orange but a musky base. For me this is a fail safe candle that anyone will like. If you are a fan of Clean Cotton then you will definitely like this.

Next is Festive Cocktail which is a wintery deep stronger scent. Notes of pine and citrus give it that mountain vibe. Lastly Star Anise & Orange is a fruity candle with citrus notes (obviously) complimented by sandalwood and vanilla. This one is more fresh and light compared to Festive Cocktail.

If you are a candle lover like me let me know which Yankee Candle scent is your favourite in the comments below.
