July Favourites 2016

Salman Dean July Favourites 2016
It is officially August! So I thought I would round up all my favourites of July. These are things I've been trying recently and I am totally obsessed with them. Just a quick note before I go into the post. If any of you are bloggers based around London please get in touch as I'm always looking for new creatives to collaborate with. Simply drop me an email or even a tweet. Enough rambling now so let's get into it.

Paul Mitchell Doubler Hitter 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner Review
A little while ago the Paul Mitchell team sent me a bunch of products from the MITCH range to try out and I must say I'm impressed. Let's start with the Doubler Hitter 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner. Now I don't believe in 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner's because I don't think a product can clean and hydrate your hair in one go. However the Double Hitter is a great Shampoo for days I don't want something stripping. Sometimes I don't wear product in my hair and when I shower I just want something that will leave my hair light and fluffy. What's great about this product for me is that it allows me to retain my curls without my hair going frizzy.

Next up is the Steady Grip Gel which I'm so happy I've discovered. I simply apply this to my wet hair and let it dry naturally for when I want to wear my hair curly (which is not that often may I add). The alcohol free formula ensures that it isn't dry or flakey throughout the day. It has a wet look finish to it with a little shine which I love. Also the product is very long lasting which means your hair will stay in place all day.

BIG BOY Soothing Drops Review

The BIG BOY Soothing Drops are a weird one for me considering I don't have a beard. Currently the market is flooded with various beard oils and moustache waxes however BIG BOY is stand out to me. I have a stubble and am able to use this light oil for a little hydration. What I like about it is that it isn't heavy which is surprising considering it's made from Sweet Almond and Argan Oil. The bottle also states that it's great to use as an after shave balm which I can totally agree with. The applicator is a pipette which is perfect to control the amount you dispense. A little goes a long way with this product which is what you want with a hefty price tag at £24.95. Anyone else a fan of beard oils? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Pana Chocolate Review

This is my first time including a food in my favourites but I thought I'd mention Pana Chocolate as it's something different.  Pana chocolate has been designed with a health conscious person in mind so it does not contain sugar, soy, gluten, dairy and other harmful ingredients. It's a great alternative treat and is even vegan friendly! The packaging is pretty cool and all production takes place in Australia.

The brand boasts 11 flavours however my absolute favourites are Nuts and Mint but Coconut & Goji is good too. If you aren't a fan of dark chocolate then you might not like these but if you are a chocolate lover than you'll love this premium brand. I'm also keen to try Fig & Wild Orange as well as Rose. The bars retail at £3.20 each and are stocked at Wholefoods if you are interested in trying them.

Salman Dean ANTI Rihanna

Last but not least ANTI has been my favourite album for the last couple of months. I'm surprised I'm not sick of it. Rihanna has outdone herself with this album - it's totally different from her otherwise commerical records. If you want to go on a musical journey then you have to listen to all the tracks in order. I would describe it a little dark and edgy. My favourite songs are Desperado and Same Ol' Mistakes.

As always guys if any of my favourites are yours then please comment below. Also if you have a blog then I would love to check yours out, so be sure to leave a link also.
