Visiting Paradise Lost In Kenya

Paradise Lost is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a coffee farm close to Nairobi. I had the chance to visit this amazing place with my cousins and some friends. Paradise Lost has a labyrinth of caves eroded by the waters of the nearby Gichi River. The caves are estimated to be 2.5 million years old, based on obsidian rock artefacts from the late stone age that were discovered inside.

It was a great day, we had a barbeque, went boat riding and attempted fishing but we didn't catch anything. There are so many other activities you can do on the site such as feeding ostriches, horse riding, camel riding, bird watching and camping. Entry only cost us 300 KES per person which is approx £2. It's a great place to go for a picnic and a nice walk on the nature trail.

Here's some footage from my visit.
