Backup Products

backup products salman
Hey guys, hope you're having a great week. Here's a post I never thought I'd do in a million years but I was organising my things the other day and realised I have so many backup products. Yes I know I'm a product junkie but I know I'm not alone. Here are an eclectic bunch of products that are so good I just keeping coming back to them again and again.

Schwarzkopf got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray La Roche Posay Serozinc
I've been growing my hair for quite a while now so I need a little hairspray on top of my product to keep it in place. I discovered the Schwarzkopf got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray through a friend and have been using it since. This product is definitely more suited to men because of the firm hold unlike traditional hair spray for women that is airy and light. Saying that this product is buildable and I always have a spare around because you can never have enough hair spray!

I don't even know where to begin with the La Roche Posay Serozinc. I've been using this product for over a year now and it originally was really hard to get in the UK (I actually bought a few bottles when I visited Paris) but now is widely available including Boots. The Queen of skincare Caroline Hirons originally raved about this product bringing it's attention to world including other bloggers. You must be wondering what the bloody hell it is. In simple terms it's a spray toner. That's the stage after cleansing but before you go in with a serum or a moisturizer. Containing Zinc Sulphate this product is great for acne/ blemish prone skin and can really make a difference. Think of it as a antiseptic healing spray for your face - although you could even use this on sunburn to calm the skin and speed up the healing process. Upon use it may just look like water to you but it's so much more! You can clearly see I'm an addict with several bottles laying around my house.

Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Body Lotion
I've previously featured the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Body Lotion with Nordic Berry on the blog before in my monthly favourites post. This body lotion has been a hit in my house so we have more than one bottle laying around at all times. Same thing with the Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter which you may think is odd because it's after sun. However this product smells so good I could almost eat it. I use it as a regular body butter and just consider the 'after sun' properties to be calming on my skin. It smells like a really sweet coconut almost like a dessert - honestly worth a smell.

Now with the Clinique M Protect SPF21 I've been using this for quite a few years. I have included sun protection into my daily routine because I suffer from hyperpigmentation on my face which darkens when exposed to the sun. It's been the bane of my life but that's another story. I've been using this Clinique product for years because its not greasy unlike traditional SPF and feels very light on the skin. I suppose because Clinique have tried to target this product to men they have created it to leave a mattifying effect which is perfect! Although I've been using this for a long time I've recently tried the La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ which is a higher factor and equally as thin and light. I'm sure I'll do a whole separate review on that at some point.

Lucas Papaw Ointment The Body Shop
Last but not least anyone that knows me, knows I'm lip balm obsessed. These two products are some of many but the only ones that I keep a spare around for emergencies (yes I know I sound crazy, but lip balm can easily get lost). The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Lip Care Stick was once again introduced to me by another friend, who ironically worked for The Body Shop. It's definitely worth the price and feels great. It's one of those products you have to try to understand why it's so good.

Lucas Papaw Ointment however is an essential and raved by everyone! It's an Australian product that works out to be quite pricey for what it is if you try and buy it from Amazon however I had friend bring me back a stash of these when she went to Australia and I treat this stuff like gold! Some people may think I'm over exaggerating as it does have the consistency of vaseline however it is so different. I would never use this during the day as it has a high shine and would come across as lip gloss! However it's perfect for a night time treatment where you can let it work its magic. You'll wake up with super soft lips and feel a big difference. Similar to the LRP Serozinc it has healing properties and according to the back of the tube can be used for boils, burns, chafing, cuts, cracked skin, rash, open wounds, insect bites and nappy rash.

Well thats it guys! If you're obsessed like me then I would love to know what products you're always stocking up on.
