London Collections Men: KTZ SS16 Show

I had the privilege of attending the KTZ SS16 show last night and it was absolutely awesome. From the venue to the lighting and even down to the smell. Yes I said it! There was definitely a smell in the air. Although I'm not sure what it was exactly.
Lit with fluorescent lighting and lined with metal railing it was as if I had walked into a post apocalyptic world. The collection complimented this theme with most clothing made from industrial materials such as aluminum, plastic PVC and electrical tape.
It was slightly difficult trying to take pictures with the caging so I do apologise in advance! This particular look was one of my favourites mainly because it was transparent with the contrasting black detailing. Also those futuristic socks totally completed the outfit!
If I could steal anything from the night it would have been this statement jacket with the oversized arms. I'm personally quite skinny so I like anything that has a different silhouette. Also I feel like I could find 101 different ways to wear this jacket.
Co-ordinates seemed to be really apparent throughout the collection which I personally love. It's been widely popular among womenswear so why not bring it to menswear.
Out of all the shows I attended at LC:M KTZ was definitely one of my favourites. The overall visual and aesthetic was cohesive and had something raw about it, taking unconventional items and making them wearable.

Hello everyone! My name is Salman and welcome to my blog. I'm a bit of an old soul with a young heart. I am only 21 but I'm completely fashion and food obsessed not to mention consumed with wanderlust. My blog won't be restricted to a certain topic so you'll be seeing all sorts from me.

A bit about my background - born and bred in London and will always consider it to be my home (even though New York is the dream). My parents moved to England from Kenya in the early 90's and seeing them struggle when I was growing up has really motivated me.

Anyway enough about me, I can't wait for you guys to see the stuff I've got lined up for you and let's enjoy the ride together!
